Model LSWSLIM/LDWSLIM

Compatible With Our Smart Dimmer Range

Our slimline plates are a sleek addition to the Lightwave range, allowing you to integrate our Smart Dimmers seamlessly into your room.

With standard plates fitted, our dimmers and scene selectors already only extend 8.4mm from wall to button face (when fitted without spacers). With a slimline plate fitted, this drops to 5.9mm - A reduction of 30%!

Single width Slimline Plates fit our 1 and 2 Gang Smart Dimmers while double width fit 3 and 4 gang models.

It's really simple to convert your standard Smart Dimmers to be slimline - All it requires is a Phillips screwdriver, five minutes of your time, and you can be giving your room a new look. Just check out our installation video!

FAQs

What warranty do the devices come with?

All of our devices come with a 2 year warranty. This can be extended to lifetime if you take out the lightwave plus membership.

Do I need a hub?

Whilst your products will works as conventional switches and sockets without the hub, the hub is required for smart control, voice control, and app control. Additionally, any timers and automations rely on the hub. Even if the internet connection drops in your property, the timers and automations will continue to function as long as the link hub remains connected and powered.

What is the range?

Lightwave devices use a low radio frequency band which enables them to achieve best-in-market range performance, this significantly outperforms widely used protocols such as ZigBee, WiFi and Bluetooth. In an open field setting, we have completed successful tests of up to 1km. In a typical household environment, this translates to approximately 100m of range. To optimise the range of your LightwaveRF devices, we recommend installing the hub in a high and central location within your property. It's worth mentioning that elements like expansive water bodies, metallic surfaces, and specific materials can occasionally affect the device's range.
