Property Developer - Case Study
Sommar Place, Trivselhus with Apple Homes
Built using the latest Scandinavian design and technology, Trivselhus is a Scandinavian house builder making a big impact in the UK.
Trivselhus houses focus on being modern, sustainable, practical, and beautiful. Room sizes are larger than average, more energy-efficient, better for the environment, and cheaper to run. In order to achieve these characteristics, the developer has turned to smart technology to help.
The Sommar Place development in Milton Keynes is the first development in collaboration with Lightwave smart technology. 39 new Trivselhus homes have been built utilising Lightwave dimmer switches and smart sockets. With Lightwave, scene lighting can be created and all appliances can be remotely controlled from anywhere. Each socket and dimmer can be monitored for energy use which appeals to Trivselhus' sustainable credentials. Timers can be created along with clever, yet intuitive, automations to fit the lifestyle of every resident. With the addition of Apple Homepods and Amazon Alexa, every Lightwave device can also be voice controlled.
The aesthetics of Lightwave smart devices fit perfectly with the sleek, minimalist Scandinavian design, and the standard retrofit capability meant that no design or wiring changes were needed to standard house plans.
